Monterra History

The master planned community of Monterra resides on Old Florida’s Waldrep Farm. Wiley Waldrep is known as Broward County’s last real cowboy, who held his dairy farm on the site from 1928 to his death in 1997 at age 91. His pastures, filled with grazing, lazy cows, are sections of Cooper City, eastern sections of Pembroke Pines and western sections of Hollywood.
